| "I depicted the atomic bomb that destructed the city of Nagasaki, Japan, on 9 August 1945 and the tsunami that stroked Japan. A nuclear weapon possesses extremely obnoxious and dynamic force, which can hurt numerous people. Because these radioactive materials are deleterious, people need the gas mask for their safety. Behind the gas mask, I drew the faces of joyful people and peaceful scenery to emphasize the hope of peace. I hope the world to be free of nuclear weapons and without any hazardous things." |
